> Ukrainian sunflower purchase prices are rising as more ships leave Black Sea ports and domestic 2021 harvest supply shrinks. Processors are prioritizing oil sales because meal and cake are hard to export, and sunflower seed prices delivered to Romania recovered to $590-610/t. Ukraine exported 90,200 tons of sunflower oil in August 1-8, up 9% from July, while seed exports fell 50%.
