# October WASDE: Soybeans rally on big yield cuts

> Farm Futures reported that USDA cut the 2022 soybean yield by 0.7 bushels per acre to 49.8 in the October WASDE, reversing pre-report expectations of higher yields and triggering a rally in soybean futures. Wheat fell from a three-month high after USDA raised global forecasts for Russian and Brazilian crops and cut US feed and export use. Corn was kept close to analyst estimates.
