# WASDE update: US supply cuts | articles | ING THINK

> ING's Warren Patterson said the October WASDE was largely constructive, with US corn 2022/23 ending stocks cut to 1.17 billion bushels from 1.22 billion. Global corn output was lowered by 3.8 million tonnes, and US soybean ending stocks were unchanged. Corn and wheat balance sheets tightened, though US corn stocks were still slightly above expectations.
