# Sunflower prices in Ukraine are increasing against the backdrop of increased export of seeds and processed products

> Ukrainian sunflower purchase prices are rising as ship traffic into Black Sea ports picks up and processors compete for limited farm offers. The Joint Coordination Centre reported 76 ships waiting to enter Ukrainian ports as of November 22, down from 175 at the start of the month. Ukraine's sunflower oil exports rose while seed and meal exports fell sharply, and the smallest sunflower crop in years is expected.
