# Palm oil clocks third weekly climb on tight supply worries

> Malaysian palm oil futures closed 0.76% lower on Friday at 4,203 ringgit a tonne but posted a third straight weekly gain, near a seven-week high. Traders cited tight global supply from Indonesia's restrictive export policies and improving demand from India and China. Refinitiv said floods would hit western Indonesia and Malaysia, with significant crop damage expected in Malaysia.
