# W13: Weekly Sunflower Oil Update

> Ukrainian sunflower seed prices fell about 12-16% in March as refiners cut purchases because of shipping difficulties through Black Sea ports and weaker oil export demand. Prices were recovering by early April. The EU-27 is set to import record volumes of rapeseed and sunflower seed in 2022/23, mainly from Ukraine and Australia.
