# Grain markets jittery as China cancels maize orders - Farmers Weekly

> Chicago maize futures fell about $11.91/t in the week to April 28 after the USDA reported Chinese cancellations of 233,000t and earlier 327,000t of U.S. maize. Brazilian maize offered at low prices is adding competition, and UK feed wheat futures also fell in sympathy.
