# Despite the drop in prices, the rate of sunflower oil exports from Ukraine remains high

> Ukraine exported 453,000 tonnes of sunflower oil in May, 91,000 tonnes below the April record. Crude sunflower oil purchase prices fell $50-60/t to $710-720/t for Danube deliveries. Shipments to the EU have nearly stopped for lack of demand.
