# Bunge and Viterra to form $34bn agri trading giant

> Bunge and Viterra announced a merger to form an agribusiness trading company valued at about US$34bn, with each firm valued near US$17bn. Bunge would pay a large cash portion and assume US$9.8bn of Viterra's debt. The combined group accounted for about 23.7% of Brazilian corn exports and 20.9% of soybean exports in 2022.
