# Sunflower seeds: yield estimates revised downwards - Mundus Agri

> Lower yield estimates are shaping the sunflower seed market and prices. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy asked the European Commission to drop EU import restrictions on Ukrainian wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower seed when they expire on 15 September, while Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia want them extended to year-end.
