# Strategie Grains cuts EU cereal crop forecasts again on weather toll

> Strategie Grains cut its EU soft wheat forecast to 126.2 million tonnes, down from 128.7 million in May, and lowered its barley forecast by 0.8 million tonnes to 47.1 million. It also trimmed its maize estimate to 60.8 million tonnes after harsh weather across the bloc. Spanish barley yields were confirmed as catastrophically low.
