# Lower sunflower seed prices in the EU and Ukraine

> Crude sunflower oil in Rotterdam rose to $900-910/t from $855-865/t as oil prices and export demand firmed. European sunflower seed prices kept sliding, falling from EUR 425/t to EUR 390/t over 9 September to 9 October. Bulgaria banned Ukrainian sunflower imports until the end of November.
