# Peru does not modify the minimum size of the anchovy fishery

> Peru's Ministry of Production said there is no technical basis to change the 12 cm minimum size for anchovy or the catch quota for the second season in the north-central zone. It is following the recommendation of the national marine institute Imarpe, rejecting a request from fishing agents for indirect human consumption.
