# EU increases imports of sunflower and rapeseed meal

> EU meal imports from July 2023 to February 2024 fell 9% to 12.14 million tons, driven by a 13% drop in soybean meal imports. Rapeseed meal imports rose 22% and sunflower meal imports rose 6%. Main suppliers were Brazil, Argentina and the US for soybean meal, and Russia, Belarus and Ukraine for the other meals.
