# US biofuel feed prices jump on blending plan | Latest Market News

> The EPA proposed biomass-based diesel blending targets of 5.61bn USG for 2026 and 5.86bn USG for 2027, above the current 3.35bn USG mandate and above industry expectations. The proposal would also cut RIN credit generation by 50pc for imported biofuels or foreign-feedstock fuels. Soybean oil futures jumped to 54.6¢/lb, the highest since October 2023, and D4 RINs rallied.
