# All Eight Major Fertilizer Prices Higher

> DTN retail data for the fourth week of March 2024 show all eight major US fertilizer prices higher than the previous month. Urea rose 8% to an average of $576/ton and UAN28 rose 5% to $360/ton, while DAP, MAP, potash and other products edged up. Analysts warned the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore could disrupt UAN imports, which mostly come from Russia.

## Why it matters

Higher urea, UAN and phosphate prices raise the cost of crop production, which can support corn and soybean prices. The Baltimore port disruption could tighten UAN supply further if the closure lasts.
