# Mexico and Belize seek to expand health protocol for safe importation of certified cattle - Euromeatnews.com

> Mexico and Belize are working on a sanitary control mechanism to expand the import of cattle for immediate slaughter and terminal fattening from Belize. The update would cover more certified Belizean producers, who must show clear tests for bovine tuberculosis and brucellosis and pass Mexican veterinary inspection.
