> Ireland's rendering sector is estimated to be worth €160 million annually, according to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine's 2023 annual report. The sector processed about 550,000 tonnes of animal by-products in 2023 and produces about 60,000 tonnes of meat and bonemeal each year.
