# Sunflower prices in Ukraine remain under pressure from falling export prices for sunflower oil

> Ukrainian sunflower prices slowed their decline but remain under pressure from falling export prices for sunflower oil, forcing processors to cut purchase prices. Turkey plans to cancel its duty on sunflower seed imports within quota and reduce the out-of-quota duty from January to April 2025. Ukraine is also canceling its sunflower export licensing regime in favor of a minimum price mechanism.
