# Ukraine. Sunseed prices force factories to switch to soybeans

> Ukrainian sunflower seed prices have risen from 13-14 thousand UAH/t to 25-26 thousand UAH/t over the past year, according to the Ukroliyaprom association. Farmers are holding back sales expecting further gains. Some crushers are switching to soybean processing, and soybean oil and meal exports rose 42.5% and 13.4% in September-November.
