# Corn use for fuel alcohol rises 3% | Feed & Grain

> NASS's Grain Crushings and Co-Products Production report, released December 2, 2024, showed 510 million bushels of corn used for alcohol and other purposes in October, up 3% from September. Fuel alcohol use was 460 million bushels, also up 3% month over month, while beverage alcohol use fell 46% from a year earlier. DDGS production reached 1.87 million tons, up 4% from September.
