# WASDE update: US corn and soybean output estimates cut | articles | ING THINK

> ING reports that USDA's January WASDE cut US corn yield from 183.1 to 179.3 bu/acre and soybean output below expectations. Corn 2024/25 ending stocks fell to 1.54bn bushels, and CBOT corn reached its highest level since December 2023 while soybeans reached their highest since October.
