# Ukraine reduced sunflower meal exports in the 2024/25 MY across all key directions – APK-Inform

> Ukraine exported about 2.37 million tons of sunflower meal in September-April of 2024/25, down 29% year on year and the lowest for that period since 2011/12. Shipments fell to the EU (-25%), China (-18%), Egypt (-10%) and Turkey (-79%). The EU cut its sunflower meal imports about 26% in favor of soybean meal.
