# EU duties on Russian fertilizers: global and regional implications | GPCA

> The European Parliament adopted additional tariffs on Russian and Belarusian fertilizers starting 1 July 2025. Urea and other nitrogen products face an extra €40/t, and DAP, MAP and NPK products face an extra €45/t, with rates rising to €315/t and €430/t by 2028. The duties add to existing 6.5% tariffs.
