# Market Update for Rapeseed & Canola 23th of July 2025

> ISTA Mielke reports that bullish vegetable oil supply and demand have partly offset bearish effects of larger European new-crop rapeseed supplies in July. Nearby European rapeseed prices were up 4% in US dollar terms year on year. OIL WORLD raised its 2025 EU rapeseed crop forecast to 20.0 million tonnes, with much of the increase from Romania.
