# Peru increases quota for anchovies

> Peru's authorities announced a 1.63 million tonne quota for the second anchovy season in the North-Centre fishing grounds, above the November 1 provisional quota. IFFO notes the quota is in line with the 2023 level and below the 2024 level. Cumulative fishmeal production to September 2025 was up about 8%, and fish oil output was up about 6%.
