    Peruvian anchovy quota announced

> Peruvian authorities set the quota for the second fishing season in the North-Center of Peru, which opened November 7, 2025, at 1,630,000 metric tonnes. That is well above the provisional quota set on November 1 and in line with the quarter-4 2023 level. IFFO projects 2025 global fishmeal output at 5.6 million tonnes and fish oil at 1.2-1.3 million tonnes.
