# 2025-23: Further delay to the implementation of the European Union Deforestation Regulation - DAFF

> Australia's DAFF issued an industry notice that the EU confirmed a further delay to the EUDR, now applying from 30 December 2026 to large businesses and 30 June 2027 to smaller ones.
