# China-Canada deal could lift some US feed prices | Agri-Pulse Communications, Inc.

> China said it will lower tariffs on a range of Canadian agricultural products as part of a deal tied to Prime Minister Carney's Beijing visit. Beginning in March, China will remove some retaliatory tariffs on Canadian canola meal, lobsters, peas and crabs, and will also cut tariffs on canola seed. In return, Canada established a tariff-rate quota allowing 49,000 Chinese electric vehicles a year at a reduced rate.
