# Analyst insight: UK grain supplies tightening | AHDB

> AHDB reports that UK end-of-season cereal stocks are lower than forecast in March for wheat, barley and oats. Wheat stocks are put at 1.919 Mt, the lowest end-June level since 2023, while oats are at 87 Kt, the lowest since 2012/13. Bioethanol restart at Ensus and higher feed use are cited as drivers.
