# Grain sector warns of costly disruptions during peak shipping season  - SaskAgToday.com

> Canada's grain sector warns that short disruptions to rail and port activity could cost up to $540 million a week, based on a new Agriculture Transport Coalition analysis. The report says lost sales are often unrecoverable and that the threat of a stoppage alone can cost up to $112 million. The findings are part of the Too Much on the Line campaign for labour law changes.
