# Russia’s port strikes leave Ukraine’s grain with almost nowhere else to go - Euromaidan Press

> Russian strikes have halted Ukraine's deepwater grain exports, and about 92 to 95 percent of export grain now reaches ports by a single rail line. Deepwater terminal capacity has fallen to four to five million tons a month from about seven million. Transit fees and proposed rail rate increases are adding cost.
