# Euro holds modest gains as US Dollar lacks momentum, Eurozone inflation in focus

> EUR/USD held modest gains on Monday around 1.1595 as the dollar struggled to extend Friday's rise. The Dollar Index traded near 99.55 after hawkish comments from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole, and 10-year Treasury yields climbed to about 4.75%. Markets priced roughly a 61% chance of a Fed rate hike in September.
