# EUDR: what importers must prepare before 30 December 2026 | IFS

> The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) applies to large and medium-sized companies from 30 December 2026 and to micro and small companies from 30 June 2027. It covers seven commodities (cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soy and wood) plus derived products, and importers must show goods were not produced on land deforested after 31 December 2020.
