> BNSF sold 28 grain shuttle slots for $30.7 million in its May 29 auction, with winning bids between $859,000 and $1.2 million. Bids were higher than the prior week's auction, and BNSF will hold a third 110-car auction on June 5. BNSF plans to run 140 grain shuttles in the coming fall harvest, down from an average of about 155 over the past three harvests.
