# Time to reset biosecurity on farm

> A Missouri agriculture column urges producers to reset their biosecurity plans after HPAI was confirmed in a commercial turkey flock in southern Indiana, the first U.S. commercial poultry case since 2020. It also notes ASF's arrival in the Dominican Republic and Haiti and the continued presence of foot-and-mouth disease globally.

## Why it matters

The column is advice on farm practices and does not add new supply information. Its main relevance is that commercial poultry detections are ongoing.
