# Increase in CPO Export Levy Becomes Disincentive for Upstream-Downstream Palm Oil Industry

> Indonesian industry groups say the higher export levies on crude palm oil and its derivatives weaken the incentive for exporters to meet domestic market obligations for Minyakita cooking oil. The levy increase took effect May 17, 2025 under Finance Ministry Regulation 30/2025. Minyakita supply could be disrupted, and it is still priced above the retail ceiling.
