# Pakistan Asks Indonesia to Ease Export Levy on Palm Oil

> Pakistan's ambassador to Indonesia, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, said Pakistan has asked Jakarta to ease the crude palm oil export levy, now about USD 129 per tonne. Pakistan wants to refine Indonesian CPO and re-export products regionally. Pakistan is also open to a joint refinery venture.
