# Fixes Are Needed To Get Biofuels Out Of Tough Position

> Industry leaders at the Clean Fuels Alliance America conference in San Diego cited downward pressure on soybean prices from rising global supply of competing biofuel feedstocks such as used cooking oil, distillers corn oil and animal fats. They also pointed to the lack of volume obligations and tax guidance as burdens. The Iowa Soybean Association called for policy fixes.
