# Lawmakers Urge White House to Ensure Strong RFS Volumes

> A bipartisan group of 28 members of Congress asked President Trump to set timely, robust 2026 renewable volume obligations. They requested at least 15 billion gallons of conventional biofuel and 5.25 billion gallons of biomass-based diesel, and asked that small refinery exemptions not be abused. The Renewable Fuels Association welcomed the request.
