# Argentina to Gradually Reduce Soy, Corn Taxes in Coming Years

> Argentina's Economy Minister Luis Caputo said soybean export taxes, currently 24%, will be cut monthly through 2027, reaching 21% by end-2027 and 15% by end-2028, with soy oil and meal taxes reduced proportionally. Corn export taxes, now 8.5%, will be cut quarterly to 7.5% by end-2027 and 5.5% by end-2028. A day earlier the government had announced a wheat export tax cut.
