# La Niña slows soybean planting and narrows Brazil’s 2025/26 production outlook

> La Niña has brought irregular rainfall to Brazil's major soybean regions, slowing October fieldwork. Pine Agronegócios cut its 2025/26 soybean estimate to 175 million tonnes and Datagro trimmed its forecast to 182.9 million tonnes, both still above the 2024/25 harvest. Conab's 177.6 million tonne estimate is also cited.
