> USDA's January report cut the 2024 US corn yield nearly 4 bu/acre to 179.3 and soybean yield 1 bu to 50.7, reducing corn production by about 275 million bushels. Corn ending stocks were lowered nearly 200 million bushels to 1.54 billion bushels despite a small demand cut.
