> University of Nebraska researchers report disappointing 2025 corn yields in parts of the state, with 20-40 bushel per acre shortfalls in areas such as York/Seward and west-central Nebraska. Leaf and stalk rot pathogens, high nighttime temperatures, storm damage, and over-irrigation were cited as causes.
