# EU sharply increases oilseed exports despite reduced sunflower production and reduced processing

> EU oilseed exports in the first 50 weeks of 2025/26 reached 1.833 million tonnes, up 41% year on year, led by sunflower seed (+74%) and rapeseed (+57%). Exports of soybean and most processed products fell.
