# US soybean futures fall on trade concerns, US planting pace

> CBOT soybean futures closed lower on trade tensions between the US and China and fast US planting progress. China's agriculture ministry announced a feed-saving plan to cut grain use in livestock feed to about 60% and soymeal content to about 10%. USDA confirmed private sales of 110,000 tonnes of US soybeans.
