Europe on track to achieving 100% sustainable palm oil in food, feed and oleochemicals

A European Sustainable Palm Oil project report shows 69 percent of palm oil imported for food into European refineries in 2016 was certified sustainable. The EU imported 7.1 million tonnes of palm oil in 2016, a 17 percent share of global imports.
