Precipitation is below normal in the west and above normal in the southeast, and the CPC summer outlook is neutral for most of the state.
Cool, uneven moisture in Kansas raises some risk to hard red winter wheat and sorghum yields in the western plains, which can support HRW and sorghum prices.
