India's Department of Fertilizers asked suppliers to raise DAP imports and domestic output ahead of the kharif and rabi seasons, warning of possible scarcity. Jan-July imports are down to 2.38mn t from 3.12mn t a year earlier, and domestic output fell to 1.16mn t in January-May.
