West Plains LLC received its first grain shipment of the season at the Port of Brownsville on April 25, a 109-railcar train of corn from Nebraska. The elevator has 3 million bushels of capacity and expects about 220 railcars monthly.
Corn will be trucked to feedlots and to Mexican states.
